Festive season demand

Festive season demand is the annual rise in vehicle purchases around India's major festivals, particularly the Navratri-to-Diwali period nationally and regional festivals such as Onam and Pongal, when many buyers deliberately time a purchase for an auspicious date.

Festive season demand in dealership marketing

It is the most important selling window of the year for most dealerships, and also the most expensive marketing window, because every competitor is advertising at once. Campaigns that start when the season starts are too late; audiences, creative, and stock should be in place weeks before.

The season is also when exchange offers, financing schemes, and OEM support are most generous, so the marketing calendar should be built around the specific dates that matter in the dealership's region rather than a generic national plan.
