Omnichannel communication
Omnichannel communication is the practice of running a customer conversation across several channels, such as SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, voice, and email, from one system, so that the customer gets a consistent message on whichever channel reaches them and the business sees the whole history in one place.

The alternative is five separate tools with five separate logs, where a buyer confirmed by SMS is chased again on WhatsApp because nobody could see the first message. For a dealership, the practical payoff is fewer duplicated follow-ups and a clear record of what each buyer was told.
It also allows fallback: a test-drive reminder sent on WhatsApp to a buyer who has not opted in can go out by RCS or SMS instead, from the same template.
